Does Suffolk County Council consult public transport

users when drawing up plans for supported bus services?

Ever since November, ESTA's Secretary has been trying to find out what procedures Suffolk County Council has for this. He was first told by the Strategy Manager that consultation "had been tried but failed." He wrote back asking when it was tried and has never had a reply. A phone call from one officer said that another officer

had replied to him, but no such letter has ever been received. A fourth officer to whom we have written has also not replied.

As a long-standing voluntary body we should like to be consulted.
